Funding research with policy value

The Public Policy and Societal Impact Hub is pleased to announce the outcomes for the Policy Greenhouse Fund scheme for 2019. The results of Round one are as follows:

9 Projects (funding up to $75,000):

 

3 Collaboration Initiatives (funding up to $5,000):

 

Round 2 of Collaboration Initiatives is open. The closing date is 13 September, 2019. 

Key points for noting:

  • For this round, the Hub received a total of 22 proposals for the Fund in July 2019.  
  • 10 proposals were submitted by early career researchers. 11 proposals are led by female academics.
  • Of all 12 successful proposals:
    • 8 proposals are led by female academics.
    • 6 out of 12 successful proposals are led by early career researchers.
  • Policy Greenhouse Fund was launched in May 2019 to support academics to engage with the policy community and to work on policy-relevant research questions.
